The great West Texas.

In my mind, there's nothing greater than a naturally captivating landscape for a photographer. It's the easiest of all, because there's no editing involved. Every shot of the dauntingly ancient mountains hardly needs to be touched. The hues of dusty brown and grassland green, the desert plants that look like strange creatures sprouting from the earth, the "big Texas sky" that seems to stretch on eternally...these natural features lend themselves perfectly to the photographer's eye. However, as great as it was to capture this magnificence on camera, I hardly think these pictures do the land justice. You've got to get out there and see it through your own two eyes.
